Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Onboard and train new volunteers, familiarizing them with NPO's mission and messaging strategy
- Connect potential new volunteers with state chapter leads and identify potential leaders in new states
- Keep current volunteers engaged through consistent communication and online meetings or training sessions
- Create new training materials on legislative advocacy and the legislative process
- Assist states with creation of marketing and outreach materials and internet advocacy campaigns

Required skills and experience:
- Volunteer coordination or management experience
- Experience with the state legislative process (in any state)
- Knowledge of shared parenting/family law reform or willingness to learn in-depth about the issue
- Experience with volunteer recruitment and database management
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent organizational and team coordination abilities
Benefits
What's in it for you
Compensation: $25-$30 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Competitive bonuses based on achievement of metrics to be decided jointly by contractor and leadership team. This is a half-time independent contractor position with a three-year contract term and option for renewal.
