Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Advise and support the Chapter Board and volunteer committees in adopting annual strategic, programmatic, and financial goals and priorities, and evaluate progress toward objectives throughout the year.
  • Manage chapter staff, including developing annual work plans, conducting regular reviews, and providing ongoing coaching and support.
  • Develop, oversee, and help implement a comprehensive chapter fundraising program, including donor relations, grant proposals, and other fundraising activities.
  • Represent Sierra Club Wyoming to the public and in the media, building positive relationships and broadening the audience that receives our messages.

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • Grassroots organizing experience in training and motivating volunteer teams, coalition building, and lobbying.
  • Staff management experience, including hiring, onboarding, and holding staff accountable.
  • Prior success in organizational budget management and fundraising, including donor relations with major funders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to speak in front of groups and persuade individuals or groups to take action.
