Chapter Director

Core responsibilities:

• Execute strategic revenue plans to drive profitable, diversified, and sustainable year-over-year growth in the chapter
• Engage and leverage the Community Board and ensure development of a strong and impactful board
• Provide leadership for cultivation of productive relationships with constituents, media, and health care partners
• Provide leadership, performance management and professional staff development to build a strong team

This role creates positive change by leading fundraising and community engagement efforts that support type 1 diabetes research, advocacy, and resources, ultimately working toward cures and improving lives for people with T1D.

Required qualifications:

• 5-8 years of professional fundraising experience in a mission-driven organization
• 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity
• Record of success in fundraising leadership with revenue responsibilities in excess of $2M
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, MS Suite, and other fundraising/special event systems
• Strong skills in donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
