CFD Development Specialist (100%)

Core responsibilities for the CFD Development Specialist:

• Develop and implement computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models and simulations
• Analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and related phenomena in carbon capture systems
• Optimize design and performance of Climeworks' direct air capture technology
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate simulation results into practical improvements

This role contributes to developing scalable carbon capture technology that removes CO₂ from the atmosphere, directly addressing climate change and helping achieve net-zero emissions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and methodologies
• Experience with fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and multiphase flow simulations
• Background in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic scale-up environment
