About the Role
The CCEFN Campaign Communications Director will play a key role in shaping the national narrative around universal child care, developing effective communications strategies, and elevating child care as a defining political issue.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-develop and maintain a shared national narrative framework to anchor all external-facing communications about universal child care
- Create earned media moments around national days of action and coordinate earned media and digital strategies to elevate child care as a defining political issue
- Develop compliant 501(c)4 messaging and political communications tools to support electoral engagement and accountability efforts
- Lead communications strategy to socialize the Vision Bill through toolkits, explainer content, and coordinated earned media

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in campaign communications, narrative strategy, earned media, and/or political communications
- Demonstrated success developing messaging frameworks and leading communications strategies for campaigns or movements
- Strong understanding of 501(c)4 communications compliance and political messaging boundaries
- Experience building relationships with reporters, pitching stories, leading media and messaging training, and coaching spokespeople
