• Deep CBAM and carbon border compliance fluency, including embedded emissions methodology, default values vs. verified actuals, monitoring plans, and covered sectors.
• Carbon accounting and verification rigour, fluent in embedded emissions accounting, EU ETS benchmarking, and accredited verification standards.
• A track record of real delivery, having helped exporters or importers prepare CBAM declarations, pass verification, or navigate accreditation.
• High agency, commercially minded, with ability to drive forward under ambiguity and partner with commercial team.
