Cash Applications Specialist - Corporate

The Cash Applications Specialist is responsible for:

• Timely and accurate application of payments to customer accounts
• Balancing daily cash receipt input files to lockbox totals to ensure completeness
• Assisting field personnel in research of cash-related items and coordinating cash transactions
• Conferring with customers on short-paid balances, unidentified payments, and process enhancements

This role supports Republic Services' environmental mission by ensuring accurate financial operations that enable the company to provide recycling, waste management, and sustainability services to 13 million customers across North America.

Required qualifications include:

• Multi-division accounts receivable processing experience
• 2 years of high-volume data entry experience
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables
• High school diploma or GED
