What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Own Cascade's ongoing market sizing and market intelligence efforts across key demand pools including voluntary carbon markets, compliance markets, and international credit markets
  • Drive forward catalytic, voluntary super pollutant opportunities in partnership with external market actors
  • Conduct market analysis and support stakeholder engagement for Cascade's Refrigerant Management Transition work
  • Monitor and synthesize developments in GHG accounting frameworks and industry standards that affect market strategies

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in carbon markets, standards, emissions accounting, climate policy, or similar field
  • Degree in business, economics, international development, or similar
  • Expertise with both quantitative and qualitative analyses and market research that lead to clear recommendations
  • Technical literacy around carbon markets and how climate mitigation projects come to market
  • Strong writing and communication skills with ability to write succinct memos and present to technical and non-technical audiences
