Capital Markets Director, Project Finance

Core responsibilities:

• Manage junior team members that will provide support with executing day-to-day tasks required to run the TPO financing platform.
• Manage and support the development, refinement, and implementation of financial models, including tax equity/tax credit transfers, warehouse debt, back leverage and other forms of project financing to evaluate and present potential returns for GoodLeap and its financing partners.
• Support the management of and deepen relationships with existing investors, while strategically expanding our investor base through introductory meetings, comprehensive due diligence sessions, negotiation of transaction documents, and catering to special requests.
• Manage various consultants and subcontracted service companies to execute financing transactions and support investor due diligence efforts.

This role contributes to financing sustainable solutions like solar panels and energy-efficient home improvements, making them more affordable and accessible to homeowners while supporting clean energy adoption.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor's (or advanced) degree with minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in project finance, structured finance, investment banking, or private equity.
• Experience managing project finance deal processes and managing junior team members.
• Expert with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint; VBA is a plus) with working proficiency in SQL (Python is a plus).
• Understanding of basic accounting statements, ABS, various debt and equity financing structures, and ability to read and interpret legal documents.

Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses. The organization emphasizes a collaborative work culture and rewarding career opportunities.
