Capital Campaign & Development Lead - Animal Welfare (Contract)

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a capital campaign strategy
• Create a compelling case for support
• Identify and cultivate major donors
• Build donor tracking and reporting systems
• Advise on fundraising strategy and messaging
• Support financial visibility and planning

This role helps build the fundraising strategy, donor infrastructure, and campaign roadmap needed for Final Victory Animal Rescue's critical growth phase, including development of a new facility, supporting the organization's mission to rescue and adopt animals.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in fundraising or development
• Direct involvement in a fundraising campaign (required)
• Ability to build systems from scratch
• Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills

Compensation and perks:

• Contract, part-time role (10–20 hours/week) with high flexibility
• Initial 6-month term
• Flexible / primarily remote work arrangement
• Compensation: $3,000–$7,000 per month, commensurate with experience
• Open to meaningful performance-based incentives tied to key milestones
