Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capacity Strengthening and Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team in Burundi. The Capacity Strengthening and Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our partners in Burundi to strengthen their capacity to deliver high-quality malaria programs. The Coordinator will work closely with the REACH Malaria team, as well as with our partners, to identify capacity gaps and develop strategies to address them. The Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of our partners' programs and providing feedback to improve their performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to our partners in Burundi to strengthen their capacity to deliver high-quality malaria programs
- Identify capacity gaps and develop strategies to address them
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of our partners' programs and provide feedback to improve their performance
- Collaborate with the REACH Malaria team and our partners to develop and implement capacity strengthening plans
- Provide training and technical assistance to our partners on malaria program management, monitoring and evaluation, and quality assurance
- Conduct site visits to our partners' facilities to assess their capacity and provide feedback
- Develop and maintain relationships with our partners and stakeholders in Burundi
- Collaborate with the REACH Malaria team to develop and implement quality assurance plans
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of our partners' programs and provide feedback to improve their performance
About the Role:
- The Capacity Strengthening and Quality Assurance Coordinator will be based in Burundi and will be responsible for working with our partners in the country to strengthen their capacity to deliver high-quality malaria programs.
- The Coordinator will work closely with the REACH Malaria team, as well as with our partners, to identify capacity gaps and develop strategies to address them.
- The Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of our partners' programs and providing feedback to improve their performance.
- The Coordinator will be required to travel frequently to our partners' facilities in Burundi to assess their capacity and provide feedback.
- The Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our partners and stakeholders in Burundi.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (public health, international development, etc.)
- At least 5 years of experience in capacity strengthening and quality assurance in the context of global health programs
- Strong technical knowledge of malaria program management, monitoring and evaluation, and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel frequently to our partners' facilities in Burundi
- Fluency in English and French
