Mission

What you will drive

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for 31 Wisconsin colleges and universities participating in the Navvy implementation, ensuring active student screening and completion of benefits applications through the platform.
  • Manage campus relationships, conduct regular check-ins to monitor progress, troubleshoot barriers, and track campus-level performance metrics including screening volume and benefits outcomes.
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison to an external research contractor, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication between SBNC staff, campus partners, and the research team.
  • Supervise and manage an intern supporting benefits appeals and case follow-up, ensuring timely coordination between campuses, students, and appeals processes.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3–5 years of experience in higher education, social services, public benefits, research coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong project management and multi-stakeholder coordination skills with excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external partners or contractors and experience working with low-income, first-generation, or under-resourced student populations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, remote environment with high attention to detail, accountability, and deadline management.
