Campaigns and Policy Officer

About the Role

The Campaigns and Policy Officer will play a key role in shaping and implementing impactful campaigns that align with strategic aims, working closely with the Campaigns and Policy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Campaigns and Policy Manager to shape and implement impactful campaigns that align with strategic aims
• Take ownership of projects and work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including Parliamentarians, Ambassadors, Champions, and grassroots changemakers
• Engage men and boys as allies to drive forward the ambition to transform cultures that underpin gender-based violence
• Help deliver flagship campaigns like White Ribbon Day and the following 16 days of activism

This role creates positive change by engaging men and boys in ending violence against women and girls, addressing root causes like gender inequality and harmful gender norms, and transforming cultures that underpin gender-based violence through impactful campaigns and policy work.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Experience working with campaigns and policy initiatives, preferably in gender-based violence prevention or related fields
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, from Parliamentarians to grassroots changemakers
• Strong project ownership and implementation skills
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout England and Wales for events and meetings
