What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Design and manage advocacy and public affairs campaigns tailored to state and community political and cultural dynamics
  • Work closely with developers and/or philanthropic/non-profit partners to set goals, define strategy, and ensure alignment
  • Manage campaign direction, planning, and operations across communications, policy, and organizing work
  • Execute advocacy plans including political strategy, message development, paid/earned media, and grassroots mobilization

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years leading advocacy, public affairs, political, or issue-based campaigns at state/local level
  • Demonstrated success owning client/partner relationships and ensuring alignment between objectives and execution
  • Experience designing and managing multi-channel campaigns integrating policy, messaging, mobilization, and media
  • Strong understanding of local/state political landscapes and stakeholder dynamics
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Advanced project management skills including scoping, budgeting, timelines, and reporting
