Mission
What you will drive
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team to refine outreach materials, templates and processes
- Researching leads and opportunities for screenings and ancillary events; creating briefing documents and taking meeting notes; tracking and routing any prospective funding, distribution, or press-related leads to other team members
- Outreach to prospective partners for screening and ancillary events/programs
- Communication and coordination with prospective and confirmed event partners
- Promotional activities and support (e.g. creating graphics and event listings from templates, executing social media and limited paid advertising through social platforms, distribution of marketing materials to partners)
- Web site/event platform updates (e.g. publishing/updating screening & event information)
- Event coordination and support activities as assigned, such as confirming logistics and run-of-show plans; communication/coordination with all parties (e.g. venues, partners, volunteers, and any speakers) - some limited travel may be required for key event(s)
- Travel related research/logistics/support
- Expense tracking, invoicing in coordination with administrative team
- In progress and summary tracking/reporting of audience, sales, and donations data
- Managing event documentation (e.g. organizing and light editing of photos/clips, etc.)
- PR coordination - scheduling interviews, appearances, materials/comms
- Collaborating on fundraising efforts as needed including providing tour content and data for funding proposals and reports
- Collaborating with the team to iterate on our approach and strategize subsequent phases of the film's distribution campaign (e.g. virtual and hosted events, streaming, educational, broadcast)
- Back-up administrative support including covering core operations during primary admin's time off (scheduling, communications/marketing, file and database management, supporting/coordinating fundraising efforts such as grant applications, crowd funding campaigns and grant reports)
- Other responsibilities as requested

Required qualities, skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in a relevant role (film campaign/impact producing; project or program administration; outreach and partner relations; PR or marketing communications; fundraising support, events management and/or executive or administrative support)
- Some professional experience with external communications (e.g. outreach, social media, marketing, newsletters, or donor relations)
- Some experience using Salesforce (or comparable CRM or database tool) for tracking institutional contacts or outreach activities
- Some experience using Asana (or comparable project management tool) for project/task management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills (ability to prioritize, track and execute on a variety of tasks)
- Comfortable working with, tracking, summarizing, and presenting basic data in spreadsheets & reports (e.g. audience, social media/ads tracking)
- An entrepreneurial, flexible mindset; adaptability
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, variable, interactive environment

- Salary range: $32.50-37.50/hour DOE
- Temporary, project-based, part time (generally 30 hrs/week), hourly
- Start date: Flexible between March 9 - 27, 2026 (March 9 is ideal)
- End date: 6 months (commitment required; extension or new role may be offered if sufficient funding is secured)
