Call for Interest - Senior Partnership Officer

Core responsibilities:

• Lead development and implementation of strategies for building partnerships with and mobilizing resources from foundations, philanthropic organisations and private sector entities for IFAD's mandate and priorities
• Promote, advocate, and communicate for increased support with private sector, foundations and philanthropic organisations for IFAD, taking into account strategic priorities
• Assist in mainstreaming partnerships with private sector entities and foundations in support of operational priorities across departments
• Build and manage partnerships with networks and organisations relevant for IFAD's private sector engagement agenda, such as WEF

This role creates positive change by building partnerships and mobilizing resources from private sector and philanthropic organizations to support IFAD's mission of eradicating rural poverty and hunger through agricultural development and rural transformation.

Required qualifications:

• Advanced university degree in international development, international relations, political science or other job-related field from an accredited institution
• At least eight (8) years of progressively relevant experience, with three (3) years in a multi-cultural organization or national organization providing support on a global scale
• Excellent English language skills (level 4), with French, Spanish, or Arabic desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in partnership building with private sector entities and foundations
