California Regional Director

• Provide strategic leadership for growing American Farmland Trust's impact in California, including program development, external relations, and fundraising.
• Lead a high-impact team to achieve program, budget, and organizational goals.
• Serve as an organizational spokesperson and shape program messages for external audiences.

This role advances AFT's mission to protect farmland, promote sound farming practices, and keep farmers on the land, contributing to sustainable agriculture and rural community resilience in California.

• Strategic leader with understanding of agriculture and conservation intersection.
• Entrepreneurial mindset for growing programs and partnerships.
• Experience in fundraising, partnership cultivation, and team management.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including government agencies, nonprofits, and corporations.

Salary range: $125,000 - $130,000 per year. Full-time position. Remote team environment.
