Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead state-level organizing and campaigning to secure progressive climate actions in California, such as making fossil fuel polluters pay for climate damage.
  • Build and maintain relationships with coalition allies, coordinate coalition efforts, and engage grassroots supporters.
  • Implement campaign work including in-district meetings, local resolutions, town halls, rallies, and legislative advocacy.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3+ years (Staff) or 8+ years (Senior) of results-oriented coalition organizing and advocacy campaign experience.
  • Prior experience with California climate and/or progressive movement organizing preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytic, written/verbal communication, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week, travel within California, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Salary range: Staff Organizer $55,000 - $70,000; Senior Organizer $70,000 - $85,000 (DOE). Full-time, regular position. Remote within California. Position is in the bargaining unit. Benefits not detailed but includes typical office equipment and remote work options.
