Buyer Analyst

• Manage purchase orders end-to-end, including creation, validation, and tracking through delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, flag risks, and recommend corrective actions to meet sales plans and minimize shrink.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on sales, inventory, and supplier KPIs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate procurement documentation.

This role directly supports Misfits Market's mission to reduce food waste by ensuring efficient inventory management and procurement, helping save an average of 500,000 pounds of food per week from waste.

• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or related analytical role (grocery/CPG/e-commerce preferred for Grocery track; produce buying/sourcing/operations for Produce track).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, formulas).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000/yr. Full-time exempt position with employee stock options, unlimited PTO, multiple health/dental/vision plans, life insurance, and 401K plan.
