Business Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients within the PK-12 Education market sectors in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area
• Coach, model, and drive business development in the Austin-based business units of Braun Intertec
• Research and share market and competition trends to Client Development, Service Delivery and Technical Practice teams
• Attend approved industry conferences and engage with industry organizations to network and enhance Braun Intertec's presence

This role contributes to improving educational infrastructure by developing relationships with PK-12 educational institutions to provide engineering and testing services that ensure safe, functional learning environments.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport and convert opportunities to contracts
• AEC, Geotechnical and Materials Industry and/or K-12 and Public background and expertise
• Demonstrated ability to effectively maintain relationships through the entire sales process and long-term client growth
• Professional and personal network to leverage (desired)
• Mentoring and coaching capabilities (desired)
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand and execute on business and growth plans (desired)
