Business Development and Application Engineering Specialist, At the Edge, Australia

• Cultivate and expand relationships with existing key customers, markets, and segments to deliver optimal value and meet evolving customer needs.
• Identify and explore new markets and segments by listening to customer needs and monitoring market trends, collaborating to co-develop comprehensive solutions.
• Roll out and implement innovative business models such as long-term partnerships, exclusive developments, and the Base Load concept with mechanisms like Frame Agreements and Capacity Reservation Agreements.
• Drive the development and implementation of integrated solutions by leveraging expanded portfolio including Hitachi and third-party offerings to bring innovation and differentiation to customers.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in strategic marketing, application engineering, business development, or customer solutions preferably in the energy industry.
• Experience in developing and implementing innovative business models and partnership frameworks.
• Strong experience in the Australian Energy market with track record of Sales, Business Development and/or Application Engineering, proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies and building long-term customer relationships.
