Business Analyst

Core responsibilities of the Business Analyst role:

• Eliciting and documenting client requirements and bringing these together into coherent artifacts that can be disseminated and passed to product teams
• Process mapping and engineering, with particular focus on elements of processes and journeys that are specific to the client
• Being the authoritative source of information within Kaluza for how the clients' business processes operate
• Facilitating requirements gathering workshops; bringing together Kaluza's product and engineering people with the client

This role helps energy utilities unlock the full value of a radically changing energy system and propel us to a future where renewable energy is sustainable, affordable and accessible for all, bringing net-zero within everyone's reach.

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years Business Analyst experience, with specific experience in the Australian energy sector
• Experience working as an analyst in a technology business crossing operational and product domains
• Experience in gathering and documenting Australian regulatory compliance and market reform initiatives
• Skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements enabling engineering teams to develop solutions iteratively
• Great at data analysis yielding insight to inform strategic decision making

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $137,000 - $180,000 + Super
