Bridge Engineering Lead

• Lead structural engineering practice in BC for highway engineering projects, delivering high-quality and cost-effective structural evaluation and design solutions.
• Develop and manage the BC highway structural engineering team, supervising licensed and non-licensed professionals, including mentoring and performance planning.
• Project manage assignments from planning through design and construction, leading project meetings, developing scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborating with design teams and clients.
• Supervise or provide structural designs for mid to large, complex, multi-modal highway expansion projects, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role contributes to the development and maintenance of safe, efficient, and sustainable highway infrastructure in British Columbia, supporting transportation and community connectivity.

• Experience in leading structural engineering practice for highway projects, including structural design, evaluation, and project management.
• Ability to supervise and mentor a team of engineers, inspectors, technicians, and CAD specialists, with expertise in structural design documents and contract deliverables.
• Proficiency in structural assessments, inspections, and reports, with the ability to travel province-wide for emergency response or infrastructure assessments.
• Knowledge of provincial bridge engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements, including quality management and risk assessment.
