Mission
What you will drive
- Lead structural engineering practice in BC for highway engineering projects, delivering high-quality and cost-effective structural evaluation and design solutions.
- Develop and manage the BC highway structural engineering team, supervising licensed and non-licensed professionals, including mentoring and performance planning.
- Project manage assignments from planning through design and construction, leading project meetings, developing scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborating with design teams and clients.
- Supervise or provide structural designs for mid to large, complex, multi-modal highway expansion projects, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What makes you a great fit
- Experience in leading structural engineering practice for highway projects, including structural design, evaluation, and project management.
- Ability to supervise and mentor a team of engineers, inspectors, technicians, and CAD specialists, with expertise in structural design documents and contract deliverables.
- Proficiency in structural assessments, inspections, and reports, with the ability to travel province-wide for emergency response or infrastructure assessments.
- Knowledge of provincial bridge engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements, including quality management and risk assessment.
