BrewBase Software Internship

Core responsibilities:

• Build automated analysis pipelines in Python and connect lab instruments and sensors directly to BrewBase
• Create dashboards for live fermentation monitoring and build tools that spot trends and anomalies
• Bridge the gap between OT and IT systems and expand BrewBase into a full SCADA platform
• Apply machine learning to fermentation modelling and build soft sensors that infer hidden process parameters

This role helps build core infrastructure for a new industry that produces protein up to 5000× more land-efficient than animal or plant proteins, potentially multiplying Earth's carrying capacity by an order of magnitude while freeing land for rewilding.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Full Stack Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and modern web frameworks
• Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and understanding of database design principles
• Builder Mentality: Experience building projects beyond coursework (personal projects, open source contributions, hackathon wins)
• Fast Learner: Excited to dive into unfamiliar domains like fermentation biology, industrial automation, and food science
