Biology Expert, Denmark's Biological Expert Preparedness

Core responsibilities:

• Answer telephone and written citizen inquiries about data protection law matters
• Create cases and file the inquiries received by the department from citizens
• Process cases regarding data subjects' rights under data protection rules and transfer of personal data
• Prepare drafts of written materials such as supervision of data processors, policies, and procedures
• Assist with updating overviews and summaries of policies and procedures
• Handle web editorial tasks such as updating web content

This role supports data protection and information security at Statens Serum Institut, which works to prevent and combat infectious and congenital diseases through research, surveillance, diagnostics, and advice, thereby protecting public health.

Required qualifications:

• Studying law, political science or similar at the master's level
• Interest in data protection law and information security
• Good writing skills and takes pride in delivering thorough work
• Open and appreciative attitude toward other people
• Systematic and structured approach to tasks
• Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and ensures completion
• Experience from similar student positions, preferably in a public organization, is an advantage
