Biologist- Remote Desktop Analyst Coordinator (Field Based)

• Utilize biological and water resource technical and critical thinking skills when conducting desktop reviews for environmental clearance work.
• Perform desktop-based environmental constraints analysis to determine appropriate levels/types of environmental avoidance and minimization measures needed for environmental compliance.
• Complete work assignments in accordance with ERM's management system, format and quality standards.
• Process data in Microsoft Excel and conduct desktop constraints analysis using ArcGIS Online.

This role creates positive change by providing environmental review and constraints analysis for construction sites, helping ensure environmental compliance and minimizing ecological impact for utility sector projects throughout Southern California.

• BA/BS or Master’s degree in a natural science discipline.
• 2+ years of field experience in California habitats, or similar (Southern California experience preferred).
• Strongly proficient in computer software including Excel, MS Word, and online data management systems.
• Working knowledge of sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills (e.g., NWI, USGS, aerial photography).

Annual base pay of $59,094 – $71,763 USD/CAD. Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life & disability insurance for benefits eligible employees. Fixed-term employees regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are eligible for a limited benefits package.
