Bilingual Collections Specialist

Core responsibilities:

• Increase collection of outstanding payments within the personal finance department as an individual contributor in the collections process
• Identify accounts with overdue payments and find solutions to help bring loans to current status
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals
• Make outbound/inbound calls with clients to resolve debts owed in compliance with collections policies

This role supports GoodLeap's mission of making sustainable home solutions more affordable and accessible by ensuring financial sustainability through effective collections, which enables continued financing for solar panels, energy-efficient products, and other sustainable technologies.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections with knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, team player with professional demeanor
