Bid Writer

Core responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and write high-quality bid submissions that convey the organization's mission, values, and expertise to commissioners and funders
• Coordinate strong tender submissions resulting in successful outcomes to help retain existing contracts and win new business
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to capture and convey Cranstoun's approach to delivering services across various areas

This role helps Cranstoun retain existing contracts and win new business, enabling the organization to continue delivering world-class services that rebuild lives and make a tangible difference to people's lives through substance use support, domestic abuse services, criminal justice work, housing assistance, and youth programs.

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience of high-quality writing with clear evidence of successful outcomes in a business development context (70% success rate)
• Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills
• Confident self-starter who welcomes challenges and adopts a solutions-focused approach
• Interest in joining a diverse, energetic team committed to delivering innovative, person-centered services
