BESS Business Development Director - Data Centers

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and execute FlexGen's go-to-market strategy for the data center segment across North America
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders at EPC, IPP, hyperscale and colocation data center companies
• Identify and qualify opportunities for energy storage deployments that support data center resiliency, sustainability, and grid services
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored energy storage solutions

This role enables data centers to adopt energy storage solutions that enhance reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency, contributing to the transition toward cleaner and more resilient energy systems.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum BS degree in engineering or technical field with 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years at data center owner/operator
• In-depth understanding of data center technologies, architectures, and industry trends
• Experience with electric power, renewable energy (solar, wind, battery), industrial communication, or electrical services
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills with customer management experience
