Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Effectively performing all activities related to developing software solutions including research, analysis, programming, testing, and support according to the chosen development methodology
- Coordinating work regularly with the designated team including other developers, product owners, focus groups, and CTO
- Helping stakeholders including non-technical staff and human rights partner organizations by providing relevant information and proactively coaching them
- Planning, testing, and releasing software while maintaining a positive attitude toward software security and development best practices

Required skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years in software development
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience in React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Proactive and independent working style under minimal supervision
- Committed to human rights and interested in information management
Benefits
What's in it for you
Competitive salary for a human rights NGO ranging from USD 30,000 to USD 55,000 per year depending on location and experience. Staff have 20 days of paid vacation, plus paid year-end office closing and local bank holidays. The position is hired on a consultancy contract.
