AZ Rural Organizing Associate (Remote within AZ)

• Organize and engage solar supporters in rural Arizona communities through events, education, and advocacy.
• Mobilize supporters to influence utility-scale solar and battery storage projects and local ordinances.
• Coordinate solar co-ops and provide technical assistance to individuals and organizations going solar.

This role empowers rural Arizonans to advocate for responsible solar energy, ensuring the transition to clean energy benefits communities and the environment.

• Resident of Arizona with minimum 2 years experience in advocacy, online engagement, or communications.
• Ability to work remotely with frequent in-state travel (20%) and overnight stays.
• Proficient computer skills including online facilitation and social media.
• Preferred: fluency in Spanish, knowledge of Arizona energy/environmental issues, strong public speaking.
