Mission

What you will drive

  • Collaborate with CAELP colleagues to advance strong climate and public health protections, focusing on doctrines for effective long-term governance
  • Develop and implement strategies to influence legal doctrines impacting environmental law and government functions
  • Research, identify, and develop engagement opportunities in legal strategy, regulatory advocacy, and defense of state legal authority
  • Contribute to promoting and defending foundational legal principles in federal rulemaking and litigation through drafting advocacy documents and conducting legal research

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Six or more years of legal or public policy experience, with preference for litigation experience
  • Strong research skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage with highly-complex legal and policy questions and strong interpersonal collaboration skills
