Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide organization-wide legal expertise, including legal resource development and litigation-related support
  • Support the organization's strategic engagement in litigation and other legal interventions
  • Lead the Legal Pathways That Work (LPTW) initiative to expand access to employment-based immigration pathways
  • Develop and maintain legal resources, manage key partnerships, and ensure access to accurate guidance on immigration pathways

This role creates positive change by expanding access to employment-based immigration pathways for college and university students and graduates in temporary or precarious immigration statuses, helping talented noncitizen graduates apply their skills in high-need sectors like education, healthcare, and STEM.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • JD and 3-5 years experience in immigration law or combination of immigration and employment law
  • Extensive understanding of immigration law with experience in employment law preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with diverse groups
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • High degree of comfort with technology including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Adobe Pro, Asana, and Wordpress
