What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct policy-relevant technical research to understand the environmental and energy impact of the road transport sector in Indonesia
- Identify the best practice design and implementation of supply-side regulations, fiscal incentives, and energy infrastructure to support Indonesia's net zero carbon goals
- Communicate findings to government officials, private industry and civil society through clear presentations, technical reports, newsletters, blogs, op-eds, and other outreach activities in both Bahasa and English
- Represent the ICCT in public and private meetings with external stakeholders, including government officials, non-governmental organizations, academics, and industry

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Graduate level degree in any science, technology, or engineering-related field, including at least three years of relevant research experience
- Interdisciplinary training or professional experience that includes transportation, energy, economics, international affairs, public health, public policy, or environmental science
- Demonstrated ability to design a research project, collect relevant data, construct or apply an analytical tool, and draw conclusions from the data
- Strong writing and public speaking skills, including the ability to communicate technical information and policy details to a non-technical audience
- Primary fluency (bilingual proficiency) in Bahasa and English, including the ability to write and speak both languages fluently
