Associate Research Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Coordinate core research management activities including research workflows, staff hiring, proposal processes, and quality assurance reviews
• Supervise data collection activities, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and ensure rigorous research quality
• Manage and mentor DIL research staff including Research Professionals and Research Associates
• Support the development and management of research project budgets and track project finances

This role contributes to development economics research projects that develop innovations with the potential to benefit millions of people in low- and middle-income countries.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of a college or university degree in related field
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline (internship experience may count)
• Excellent organizational skills, written communication, and high-level attention to detail
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills and knowledge of fieldwork in developing countries
