Associate, Portfolio (Investment Selection & General Portfolio Support)

• Provide operational support to Build and Catalyze Investment Selection Managers for grant-making cycles, including project plans, meeting notes, and content creation.
• Manage cross-cycle processes such as application data analysis, applicant categorization, and grantee-partner onboarding.
• Support day-to-day operations for the 30-person Portfolio team, including meetings, retreats, reporting, and goal-setting.
• Assist with quarterly budgeting, resource allocation, and work planning in partnership with the Partner, Strategy & Operations.

This role supports the identification and selection of high-impact social entrepreneurs, enabling New Profit to invest in organizations that expand access and opportunity in America, ultimately serving millions of people.

• 1-2 years of relevant professional experience (nonprofits, philanthropy, management consulting, venture capital) and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Sharp analytical skills and comfort working with data.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products.

Salary range: $72,074 - $78,826 annually. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement benefits, and generous PTO with end-of-year holiday break.
