Associate, Legal Resources

Core responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Legal Resources team, including scheduling calls, supporting meetings, and managing shared email inboxes
• Support development and logistics of virtual peer spaces, events, trainings, and webinars, including drafting invitations, registration setup, and speaker coordination
• Maintain centralized legal resources on the website and manage updates to Legal Resources webpages
• Enter and track member inquiries in Salesforce and ensure timely resolution through calls, letters, or emails

This role supports the Council on Foundations' mission to strengthen philanthropy by providing essential administrative and logistical support to the Legal Resources team, enabling them to better serve foundation members with legal guidance and resources that help advance effective philanthropy.

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant work experience in a professional office environment, preferably at a nonprofit, membership association, or mission-oriented law firm
• 1 year of experience with project management software such as Monday.com
• 1 year of experience working independently with discretion, initiative, and discipline to support a manager
• Proficient skill in Microsoft Office 365 applications and experience with CRM databases, preferably Salesforce

Starting salary range of $33.75 - $37.75 hourly (approximately $70,200 - $78,520 annually based on 2,080 hours). Position is primarily remote with 10% travel required.
