Associate - Health Financing
We are seeking an Associate - Health Financing to join our team. The Associate will support the development and implementation of health financing strategies and policies in low- and middle-income countries. The role will involve working closely with government officials, development partners, and other stakeholders to design and implement health financing reforms. The Associate will also contribute to the development of technical assistance programs and provide technical support to countries on health financing policy and reform. The Associate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on health financing issues, developing policy briefs and reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The Associate will also support the development of training programs and materials for health financing professionals. The Associate will work closely with the Health Financing team to achieve the team's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of health financing strategies and policies in low- and middle-income countries
- Work closely with government officials, development partners, and other stakeholders to design and implement health financing reforms
- Conduct research and analysis on health financing issues
- Develop policy briefs and reports on health financing topics
- Present findings to stakeholders
- Support the development of training programs and materials for health financing professionals
- Work closely with the Health Financing team to achieve the team's goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, public health, international development)
- 2-3 years of experience in health financing or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong knowledge of health financing policies and reforms
- Experience working in low- and middle-income countries
About the Role:
The Associate - Health Financing will be a key member of the Health Financing team, working closely with government officials, development partners, and other stakeholders to design and implement health financing reforms. The role will involve conducting research and analysis on health financing issues, developing policy briefs and reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health financing, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate will also have experience working in low- and middle-income countries and a strong knowledge of health financing policies and reforms.
