Associate Director, Portfolio Analytics

Core responsibilities:

• Develop robust financial models for therapeutic programs and platforms, including revenue forecasts, valuation analyses, and scenario planning
• Conduct comprehensive market landscape analyses using secondary sources and primary research to assess unmet needs and market potential
• Build and maintain portfolio analytics tools and frameworks to support resource planning, portfolio valuation, and scenario modeling
• Partner with R&D, finance, business development, and commercial strategy teams to align scientific and business perspectives in portfolio analytics

This role supports portfolio decision-making for transformative treatments, helping bring the benefits of Flagship's innovation to more patients faster through data-driven insights that inform investment in novel therapeutics.

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. in life science with 3+ years experience, MBA with quantitative focus and 5+ years experience, Master's with 5+ years experience, or Bachelor's with 8+ years experience
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and valuation of pharmaceutical assets and portfolios
• Experience in biopharma investment banking, Big 4 advisory, life science strategy consulting, or corporate/business development in biotech/pharma
• Proven ability to perform competitive analysis and market assessments across therapeutic areas

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $148,000 - $203,500
