Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and lead media strategy to generate maximum visibility for Dēmos' work and experts
- Produce top-line messaging, create and maintain press lists, and lead media planning for all programs
- Draft, review, and edit media materials, conduct media outreach, and manage media interviews
- Collaborate effectively across teams, support team leadership, and manage portfolio and projects

- Proven ability to develop and design comprehensive media relations strategy
- Superior writing ability to translate complicated ideas into accessible content
- Ability to quickly gain deep issue fluency in new topics and policy areas
- Skilled at managing workflow, prioritizing work, and successfully managing multiple projects
- Sophisticated understanding of racial equity and experience deepening racial justice approaches
- Proven success in building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Annual salary range: $126,000 - $136,000
