Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and lead media strategy to generate maximum visibility for Dēmos' work and experts
  • Produce top-line messaging, create and maintain press lists, and lead media planning for all programs
  • Draft, review, and edit media materials, conduct media outreach, and manage media interviews
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, support team leadership, and manage portfolio and projects

  • Superior writing ability to translate complicated ideas into accessible content
  • Ability to quickly gain deep issue fluency in new topics and policy areas
  • Skilled at managing workflow, prioritizing work, and successfully managing multiple projects
  • Sophisticated understanding of racial equity and experience deepening racial justice approaches
  • Proven success in building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Annual salary range: $126,000 - $136,000
