Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Support organizational planning, priority setting and big picture goals
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Advisory Board to keep decisions grounded and momentum steady
- Build and sustain relationships with community partners, newsroom collaborators and civic organizations
- Help coordinate logistics and on-the-ground execution for workshops, events and fellowship activities
- Contribute to annual development planning and donor stewardship
- Assist with budgeting and basic financial tracking
- Draft or refine communications that help tell LARC's story and extend reach

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in journalism, media or nonprofits
- Experience helping build or grow a comparable program or organization
- Experience with development strategy and donor stewardship
- Strong project management abilities, including clear communication and consistent follow-through
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to bring leadership to shared work
- Familiarity with the Los Angeles journalism, media or nonprofit landscape
- LA-based, with ability to occasionally attend in-person events and meetings
