Pioneering Medicines: Associate Director /Director Business Development

Core responsibilities:

• Lead strategic transactions for Pioneering Medicines and select companies across the Flagship ecosystem
• Shape and execute partnering strategies, drive external engagement, and negotiate transactions
• Lead diligence and financial analysis for new deals, developing partnership frameworks
• Establish credibility through deep understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical deals landscape

This role contributes to advancing biotechnology by uniting life science innovation, company creation, and capital investment to address humanity's most urgent challenges including improving human health, curing intractable diseases, and feeding the world through sustainable agriculture.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or related field; Advanced scientific degree strongly preferred; MBA a plus
• 5+ years experience in business development, partnership management or alliance management within large pharma or biotech
• Experience with sell-side partnering and transaction processes
• Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $150,000 - $236,500
