Associate Designer (Digital)

• Design digital creative assets for web, email, social media, and occasional print projects to support POGO's mission.
• Manage website content, including posting articles and investigations with attention to readability and engagement.
• Build and deploy emails and e-newsletters using EveryAction, ensuring accuracy and visual consistency.
• Assist with print project management, including vendor coordination and feedback incorporation.

This role amplifies POGO's watchdog work by creating compelling visuals that inform the public and inspire action to hold the government accountable, ultimately contributing to a more ethical and effective federal government.

• Minimum 1 year of professional graphic design experience or demonstrated equivalent.
• Portfolio showing strong aesthetic quality, visual fundamentals, and design software proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred; experience with email platforms (MailChimp, EveryAction) and CMS (WordPress, Craft CMS) a plus.
