Assistant General Counsel, Power Supply

• Provide legal representation, advice, and counsel to the Power Supply team on energy procurement, power purchase agreements, asset management, and energy transactions.
• Advise on market operations, regulatory compliance, and asset ownership, including CAISO tariffs and rules.
• Review, draft, and assist with compliance reporting and communications with regulatory agencies.

This role directly supports Clean Power Alliance's mission to provide clean, renewable energy to over three million residents and businesses, advancing California's transition to a sustainable energy future.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in energy, regulatory, public agency, administrative law, or policy, with at least 5 years of legal experience.
• Expertise in energy sector contracting (EEI, WSPP) and working knowledge of CAISO.
• Excellent written, speaking, and presentation skills with ability to explain complex technical matters.

Salary range: $219,753.21 - $351,604.93.
