Assistant Company Secretary

The main accountabilities of the Assistant Company Secretary will be to support the Company Secretary on all company secretarial matters for JERA Nex bp and its direct and indirect subsidiaries. This position involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and managing the company's statutory books including liaison and management of work delivered through multiple third-party suppliers.

• Support the Company Secretary in ensuring the company complies with its governing documents, company law, and other relevant regulations.
• Provide briefings on corporate governance best practices and ensure effective board processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of subsidiary governance policy, practices, processes and guidelines.

This role supports JERA Nex bp's mission to unlock the value of offshore wind, making it sustainable, affordable and accessible to countries and communities worldwide, contributing to clean energy transition.

• Chartered Secretary or equivalent professional qualification. Professional qualifications such as CGI (Chartered Secretaries Institute) /ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) with 3-5 years’ PQE are highly desirable.
• Experience in a multi-national organisation Company Secretariat environment.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced, complex / matrixed multi-national organisation.
• Ability to build credible and effective relationships, maintaining respect and pragmatism in dealings with all stakeholders across functions and geographies.
