Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Provide case management support for assigned requests for assistance from artists and cultural workers under threat, ensuring timely, secure, clear, and compassionate communication
- Facilitate emergency and resilience grants processes, often time-sensitive, including coordinating grant disbursements and compliance checks
- Conduct in-depth contextual research on human rights, artistic freedom, and country-specific risk factors pertinent to assigned applicants' situations
- Maintain accurate documentation, tracking, and follow-up related to assigned cases across ARC's systems, including CRM and case management systems

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., case management, human rights, political science, international relations, law, or social justice-related)
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in areas such as grantmaking, case management, paralegal work, social work, humanitarian response, refugee or resettlement support, human rights advocacy, or social justice issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English AND an additional language are required, preferably Arabic or Farsi
- Familiarity with CRM systems and strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills

What's in it for you
Compensation is provided via a monthly retainer within the range of $5,000-$6,000, commensurate with experience. This role is structured as an initial 4-6 month independent contractor engagement and is not eligible for employee benefits.
