Article Writer (Volunteer)

• Write new climate/environmental article content to appear on the Earth Hero website and app.
• Research and validate content sources to established standards.
• Embrace feedback from editors and incorporate it into your work to elevate the quality of your writing.
• Add appropriate internal links and credible/authoritative external links to articles.

This role helps address climate change by creating content that reaches thousands of people worldwide, making it easy for them to take personalized, positive steps to care for our shared planet and build a better future.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fact-based, public writing, and a willingness to use the Oxford comma.
• An understanding of how to distinguish solid sources from opinion. Scientific literature research experience is a bonus.
• Comfortable interpreting scientific studies, technical data, and journals.
• Ability to take initiative, learn new things, and apply them.
• Ability to establish trust and confidence by demonstrating credibility and integrity.
