Area Accounting Center Associate Manager

• Oversee standardized accounting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting guidance, Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, and statutory requirements.
• Supervise accounting aspects of capital expenditures, transfers, and retirements.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of accountants to meet performance standards.

This role ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance, supporting Republic Services' environmental sustainability mission by enabling efficient resource allocation and transparent operations.

• 2-4 years of related accounting or finance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley 404, and financial compliance.
• Experience with Oracle accounting software and intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and manage team performance.
