AECOM is seeking an Architecture Discipline Lead I for our growing Roanoke Building + Places team to work on interesting and challenging projects for a variety of clients. This position is fully remote.

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides technical leadership for a specialty and is considered to be a fully capable professional in their field.
  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of architecture principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods.
  • Resolves important technical questions and plans and coordinates work.
  • The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually result from progressive experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Monitor project performance, proactively addressing risks and challenges to maintain efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality management processes and ensure technical excellence.
