Architecture Discipline Lead

• Lead the development of design criteria for procurement and oversee design implementation during Design-Build for NYCHA's IDA program addressing Hurricane Ida damage.
• Manage a group of architects and designers, coordinating activities and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate technical assignments related to flood mitigation and building modernization.

This role directly contributes to making NYCHA housing more resilient to climate change by implementing flood mitigation strategies and modernizing infrastructure, protecting vulnerable communities from future disasters.

• NY/NJ licensed architect with flood mitigation experience.
• Extensive progressive experience in architecture, with multi-disciplinary knowledge.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage a team.
• Experience with design-build contracts and large-scale housing projects.
